AboutPrecision Ag Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2013 by Josh Dillman with the goal of providing farmers with high-quality products designed to maximize efficiency and profits.
Josh originally comes from Tru Count, Inc., the company that developed the original Conser Clutch and the groundbreaking Air Clutch. Founded in 1982 by farmer Glen Dillman, Tru Count got its start in an old hog shed outside of Gilman, Iowa. Glen and his son Tom, also a farmer, invented the patented mechanical Acre Counter. In 1986, Glen's oldest son Jeff added his skills as a mechanical engineer to the mix, and the three developed the Conser Clutch - a large section electric clutch designed for half planter shutoff to save seed when planting headlands and end rows. Josh still manufactures an updated version of this clutch today. In 2006 Jeff invented the Air Clutch. It was the first clutch on the market that could control every single row on a planter, giving farmers the ultimate in precision planting. Now in Grimes, Iowa and operating under Precision Ag Technologies, Inc. Josh leverages three generations of experience in manufacturing, marketing and sales within the Precision Agriculture field to bring high-quality, reliable precision products to the progressive farmer. |
